Registered Pharmacist-University of Newcastle Lecturer – PhD candidate- Highschool Teacher 

I am passionate for change in the health industry not only for my clients but for my team, I believe a friendly and kind environment is where we flourish the most.

I aim to create a space where people feel safe and cared for. With a strong passion and background  in education I endeavour to help people make an informed choices about their medications, health and lifestyle through the meaningful and helpful education that is based on scientific evidence.

  • Hey! My name is Bonnie, over the last 10 years I have either been studying pharmacy or working in community pharmacy. I have a Bachelor of Biomedical Science (2013) and a Master of Pharmacy (2015). I am currently in the process of becoming an accredited pharmacist to conduct Home Medicine Reviews. I am passionate about sharing knowledge with others to improve their health and well-being. I am a Mum of two girls so childhood illnesses, pregnancy and breastfeeding has been of particular focus for me in recent years.

Meet Mel

Head of Marketing & Graphic Design

  • Hey I am Mel, aside from AFP I’ve been working in pharmacy as a pharmacy shop assistant for 5 years and dispensary technician for the last 6. This is where I met Tabitha. I am also a Mum of two beautiful girls, which not only aids in my driven work life but also allows me to empathise and understand other parents and the intricacies of parenthood when assisting customers. 

    During my time in pharmacy I completed a Diploma in Graphic Design. This creative side of life is more in line with my personal passions and interests, so the opportunity to aid A Friendly Pharmacist in this way is more than a perfect fit for my skillset. My interests include salty days spent at the beach, weekends camping by the riverside, adventure filled road trips, and of course my family. 

    All in all I am passionate about helping people and working in pharmacy has brought a lot of positive challenges. My experience has also fed the enjoyment I get from always learning something new. Every day is different and the opportunity to meet and learn from people with all kinds of background only aids in my ability to help those around me.
